About Maggie & Molly's Bakery

Maggie & Molly's Bakery is Denver's premier homestyle bakery.  Influenced by southern and midwestern cooks, most of our baked goods are created from recipes developed by the owner's grandmother and perfected by her mother.

We specialize in one of a kind holiday items and offer a large variety of goods to choose from.  We can pretty much bake anything.  So, if there's something you want that you don't see on this web site, give us a call and we'll do our best to meet your needs.

We think the freshness of our baked goods is what sets us apart.  We make everything to order which means that our products are always fresh.  We decorate everything by hand, so no two cookies or cupcakes look alike, although they all taste great.  We also use only the finest ingredients including real butter, quality chocolate and fresh spices.  We never use preservatives - not no way not no how... 

Gift Packaging 

Maggie & Molly's Bakery packages our cupcakes, cakes and pies in a brown bakery box. We wrap the box in two different colors of raffia and add a gift card adorned with a replica of a vintage postcard that represents the sentiment you want to convey (that means a card with a heart for Valentine's Day, red rockets for the 4th of July, a big Happy Birthday message for a big happy birthday...you get the idea).   

Our cookies and brownies can be packaged in a box or a silver tin and we add raffia and a gift card for a festive and pretty presentation. 

Once we receive your order, we'll contact you to discuss your gift card message. 

How To Order 

We carry many of our cupcake, cookie and scone flavors at our Cherry Creek store (varieties change frequently) at 2908 East 6th Avenue (6th Avenue and Fillmore Street).  Everything we offer, including cakes, pies, pastries and breakfast treats can be ordered through this web site, or by calling us at 720 328 4073 or sending an email to maggieandmollys@comcast.net.  Sometimes we can't answer the phone right away because we're making deliveries or creating something new and special and we just can't stop. We promise to call you back as soon as possible.  BTW, we do need at least 24 but sometimes 48 hours notice to prepare your order. 

What type of ingredients do you use in your baked treats?

We use the best and highest quality ingredients we can find.  We always use real and fresh unsalted real butter.  We use Valrhona and Callebaut chocolate and Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Vanilla - considered to be the best vanilla available.  We use fresh fruit when it's in season and quality eggs and nuts.  Everything is made from scratch and we use absolutely no preservatives.

How does your delivery service work? 

We hand deliver all of our deliveries.  We deliver throughout the Denver metro area and can deliver in some of the farther out areas including Boulder and Castle Rock.  It just costs a bit more to go there and we sometimes can't be as flexible as far as delivery date and time.  There isn't a place on the order form for you to tell us when you would like the delivery made.  We typically work out those details over email (maggieandmollys@comcast.net) or by phone (720 328 4073).  We are willing to leave deliveries on porches but just need your permission.

And, the most frequently asked question is:  who are Maggie & Molly?

They're useless in the kitchen, dreadful in the office and serve very little purpose except to ease owner's stress level.  Maggie & Molly are two of the owners cats and they pretty much eye candy and that's it!  Our corporation is named after their brother, Dexter, who is in fact the boss of all of us!
